Transferring
Transferring accounts can be a tricky and lengthy process, so here's an overview on how to safely transfer your Polar Cop subscription.
Pre-Requisites
- Your account must be more than a month old.
- Your account must be in a positive balance; your latest invoice paid.
- You hold a renewal membership.
- You have not been transfer-locked.
Note:
- Transferring your account will keep the transfer link open till the end of your current plan.
- If your plan ends on the 1st of December and you transferred on the 28th of November, the recipient will have two days to complete the transfer.
- The recipient will also be charged £36 as the subscription will restart from the date they complete the purchase.
- You do not need to unbind your discord or remove your card details, we will securely transfer without any exposure to your details.
- Transferring is an irreversible process. We will not provide any support regarding this matter.
Initiating a Transfer
- Visit the dashboard and locate the transfer button at the bottom of the screen.
- You will be redirected to a transfer page, as seen below. Here you will enter the email address for the new recipient of the Polar Cop Subscription. You cannot change this email later and it must be the same one used by the recipient for checkout.
Once you have requested the transfer, you will receive an email requesting confirmation of the transfer, when you click the link you will be taken here to the transfer page, requesting permission to authorise the transfer.
Authorise a Transfer
Note:
- Authorising is irreversible and once completed we will be unable to reverse it.
- You must confirm the transfer from the same device you used to request the transfer. We track the IP address used to initiate the transfer for security reasons, so ensure you authorise from the same IP. Avoid using VPN'S.
If you are using an authorised MM you will see a verification token, please provide this to the MM and do not authorise until they approve.
Once authorised, you will see a link. This invite link can be given to your recipient to complete the transfer safely.
